BREAKING NEWS: In response to significant Democratic gains on Election Day, Trump has forced out Jeff Sessions as attorney general and nominated as his replacement Matthew Whitaker, a critic of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election.  Trump's action has set into motion previously established activist plans to protest efforts to derail the Russia probe. Below is the information on the Thursday, Nov. 8, protest, as well as a reminder about our November meeting, which will take place Thursday evening as scheduled.

We will also discuss national post-election "next steps" -- including any developments related to the Mueller situation -- and celebrate this week's many Democratic victories with refreshments.
